About World Bio-Energy Development Summit Conference
China is now facing the great pressure of reducing 40-45% of its carbon emission before 2020 according to its promise made at Copenhagen Summit. Bio-energy,
as the fourth largest energy resource in the world, has witnessed the great development in China.
State grid and five major power generation groups along with other corporations made great amount of investment in the construction and operation for the biomass power generation. By the end of 2007, over 87 biomass power projects have been authorized with the installed power-generating capacity of 220MW. In the 11th 5-year-plan, China plans to construct
